Make an antenna for the TV in your car.

Make a car antenna to boost the signal of the TV mounted in your car. When routed through a digital transition box, your antenna will be able to pick up the signals that are broadcast by television network towers. This will allow you to watch TV on the go, while you are riding passenger of course. The antenna you will make will allow you to use an extra car antenna to drive the signal.

Things You'll Need

  • Sewing Pin (with plastic bulb on the end)
  • 1-6 feet of speaker wire
  • Wire cutters
  • Two face tape
  • Extra car antenna

Instructions

    • 1

      Strip the ends of the speaker wire about a half an inch on both ends using a wire stripping tool. Afterwards, wrap an end of the wire around the needle with a bulb, while making sure to wrap the wire as close to the bulb as you can.

      Wrap the other end of the wire around the antenna and use two face tape as needed to wrap around the wires to ensure a concealed connection.

      Put the needle in the power source where the antenna is connected.

      Connect the antenna to your TV in the car and route it through a digital television box to pick up free cable signals in your car.

  • You may need to adjust the antenna to pick up signal.
