How to Replace the Glass on a Flatbed Scanner

Scanners have a glass plate on which you place documents or pictures in order to transfer a digital copy of the document or picture to your computer. Without the glass plate, a scanner is useless. If your glass plate breaks but the scanner still works, you can replace the glass with a new piece, in many cases. You will have to order a piece of replacement glass either from your scanner's manufacturer or from a scanner parts supply company (see Resource). Does this Spark an idea?
