How to Make a VSO Advanced Menu Template

When authoring DVDs, you may want to create a menu for the disc. This way, you can make the discs look professional or fun, depending on the disc type. In both of these examples, it is useful to create an advanced menu for your project. If you are using the VSO ConvertXtoDVD software, you can use the built-in menu template maker to build your menu template. The menu has many advanced features over other DVD authoring tools and allows you to create interactive menus with ease.

      Click "Start." Type "ConvertXtoDVD," and then press "Enter." Click "File" followed by "Open Project." Locate and open your project.

      Expand the "Title menu" option by clicking "+."

      Click the "Title text" option. Click the text box, and drag it around to move it. Double-click the text to change the font.

      Double-click "Background video/image." Click the folder icon and select an image if you want to use a still. Click "Video" and then select a start and end point from the video to use footage. Double-click "Background audio." Locate and select an audio file from your computer.

      Double-click "All menu pages" to load the main style editor. Click and drag text boxes and other information around the page to design your advanced menu. You can change fonts, create different aspect ratios and separate page entities.

      Click "OK" followed by "Save" when you are done creating your advanced menu template.
