How to Change Music From a WMA File to an MP3 File
Music can be changed from a WMA file to an MP3 file using Windows Media Player, which can be found on all Windows computers. However, in order for Windows Media Player to be able to change the music from a WMA file to an MP3 file, the music must be on a CD. If the music is not on a CD, you can use Windows Media Player to first burn the music to a CD, and then use Windows Media Player to rip that CD to convert the music from WMA files to MP3 files.

Open Windows Media Player and insert the CD containing the music you would like to convert from a WMA file to an MP3 file. If the music is not on a CD, click the "Burn" button and then drag the music that you would like to convert from a WMA file to an MP3 file into the burn list (the burn list will appear in a column on the right side of the screen). Insert a blank CD-R into your computer, click "Start Burn," and the WMA music will be burnt onto a CD.
