How to Access Underneath a Jacuzzi Tub

Soaking in a Jacuzzi hot tub is a great way to relax after a long day. Jacuzzi hot tubs have several critical components that allow the hot tub to operate properly, including a pump, heater, control panel and power supply. All of these components are hidden below the tub, behind a removable panel on the side of the tub. Once the panel is removed, all of the critical components, including the space below the tub, are accessible.

Instructions

1. Turn off the breaker connected to your Jacuzzi hot tub in your service panel.

2. Locate the main service panel, located on the side of the hot tub with the control panel on the top rim. The service panel consumes approximately 3/4 of the side panel and has 20 to 24 screws, depending on the model, surrounding the perimeter of the panel.

3. Remove the screws along the service panel and place them in a safe place.

4. Remove the service panel from the side of the hot tub. If necessary, insert a flat-head screwdriver beside the panel to pry it away from the hot tub.
