How to Get Certified for Reflexology Online

Reflexology is a noninvasive modality that uses alternating pressure at different reflex points on the hands, feet and body. The thumb and forefinger of the reflexologist are used to apply the appropriate amount of pressure. This is the Western version of the healing principles found in acupuncture and similar Eastern medicines. Certifications from various organizations exist within the field. Online certifications are available for various skill levels. A certified reflexologist may also seek additional certifications to specialize in a particular area of the body.
