How to Change the Voice for a Dodge REC Navigation System

The REC navigation system came with Dodge, Jeep and Chrysler vehicles. The navigation system is an MP3 player, stereo and CD player all in one. Voice controls for the navigation system include the voice's language and the level of voice guidance. In order to use the navigation system you need the navigation DVD.

Instructions

1. Place the navigation DVD into the DVD slot and close it. Click "Nav" on the console.

2. Turn the joystick on the far right side of the console and select "Voice Guidance" from the menu. Press the joystick to select it. Choose the type of voice guidance you want (Maximum, Normal, Minimum or Off) and press the joystick again.

3. Click "Nav" and select "Language" from the menu. Select the language you want (English, French or Spanish) and click the joystick.
