1
Wrap your measuring tape vertically around the cushion, placing the measuring tape around the cushion's middle. Write down this number, this will be your length of fabric. Measure the width of the cushion. Multiply this number by two. Write it down. This will be your width of fabric.

2
Cut a piece of fabric to the dimensions you just calculated. Lay the fabric face down on a clean, flat surface. Iron it on medium heat. Place the cushion face down on the fabric in the exact center.

3
Take hold of one lengthwise end of fabric and pull it down past the center of the cushion. Insert three large safety pins, spaced 3 inches apart, to hold it in place. Repeat this maneuver with the other lengthwise end of fabric.

4
Grab the cushion so the right side faces you. Push in the right and left sides of fabric around this end of the cushion, so you create two flaps, one on the top and one on the bottom. Pull the upper flap down against the cushion. Pin it in place. Pull the lower flap down against the cushion. Pin it in place. Repeat with the left side of the cushion.
