How to Find Your Grades From Your School

You can easily get your grades from your school. Some schools rely exclusively on traditional mailing services to send out grades, while others opt to use secure online services in order to distribute student grades. But sometimes students do not receive their grades at all. When this happens, do not despair, there are steps to take in order to get your grades.

Things You'll Need

• Student's identification number
• Drivers license or other state-issued ID

Instructions

1. Call the school's main office. Ask if it is possible to send the grades again. If this is not feasible, request a time when you may pick them up. An office employee can give you a copy of your grades after you present your school identification (ID) and state-issued ID. Schools may only release your grades to you.

2. Inquire about fees that you may owe to the school. A school can withhold your grades if any unpaid fees are on your school account. You can pay the fines online or over the phone.

3. Look online. If the school uses a secured online system to post grades, use the school-assigned password and student ID number. You will then be able to see the grades.
