How to Take Diatomaceous Earth for Parasites

How to Take Diatomaceous Earth for Parasites thumbnail
Food grade diatomaceous earth is safe for humans and large animals and is sometimes used as a remedy for roundworms and other parasites.

Diatomaceous earth is made up of microscopic remains of tiny, fossilized plants called diatoms that are mined and then ground into a powder. DE, as it is often referred to, is a natural substance composed largely of silicon, and while it is safe for consumption by humans and other animals, the particles of the plants' hard shells are sharp enough to cut through the bodies of many insects. For this reason, diatomaceous earth is a popular home remedy for worms and other parasites in humans.
