How to Recycle Futon Mattresses
Like regular bed mattresses, futon mattresses will become worn out over time and need to be replaced. Mattresses are bulky and, if they are thrown in the trash, end up in landfills. If the futon is still in usable condition, donation is possible to give the futon a second life.
