Cold weather often wreaks havoc on sports cars' engines. The Nissan 300ZX is one of those sports cars that is affected by cold. The problem that engines face is that the cold drains the car's battery until it cannot even turn the engine over. Installing a cold weather car battery helps your 300ZX avoid the late starts from your car not turning on in the cold weather.

  • Flathead screwdriver
  • 300ZX cold weather battery

Instructions

      Turn off your 300ZX engine and open the hood.

      Use the flathead screwdriver to remove the two screws that hold the battery bracket on.

      Use the screwdriver to loosen both battery cables' clamps. Pull both cables off of the battery. Pull the old battery out.

      Place the new battery in the battery cradle. Connect the color-coordinated battery cables and tighten their clamps with the screwdriver.

    • 5

      Place the bracket back onto the battery and tighten its two screws to secure the battery to the cradle. Close the 300ZX's hood.
