Pour a cup of vinegar directly into the sink drain. Replace the sink drain's cover. If the drain does not have a cover, use something to plug the drain so that baking soda/vinegar solution does not bubble up out into the sink. You want the solution to go down the drain. Wait 15 minutes.

Bring (at least) 1 gallon of water to a boil. Pour the boiling water down the drain. The baking soda/vinegar solution will have eaten away at the source of the obstruction. The boiling water will flush it all out, clearing the clog and allowing the sink to drain properly once more. If the sink still drains slowly after, repeat the process.
