Instructions

    • 1

Open the blinds slightly so that they are not completely closed. Between ¼ and ½ open is fine.

    • 2

Place the blinds into a clean bathtub. Spread them fully so none of the blinds are compressed.

    • 3

Fill the bathtub with enough lukewarm water to cover all of the blinds.

    • 4

Add roughly ½ gallon of white vinegar into the tub.

    • 5

Soak the blinds for two to three hours. Then, remove the blinds from the solution.

    • 6

Wipe off both sides of the blinds with a soft cloth, or scrub them gently with a non-abrasive brush.

    • 7

Rinse the blinds thoroughly with lukewarm water using the bathtub's faucet, shower faucet or shower attachment.

    • 8

Open the blinds fully. Hang them either over the shower or outdoors until they've fully dried.
