Instructions

    • 1

Unscrew your existing showerhead at the rear of the head where it screws onto the pipe.

    • 2

Attach an in-line shower filter such as a Culligan ISH-100 or GE 01HWW by screwing the rear end of the filter clockwise onto the supply pipe.

    • 3

Screw your existing showerhead onto the front of the in-line filter. Tighten the seal between the filter and showerhead with plumber's tape to ensure a full, strong water flow.

    • 4

Turn on your shower to flow filtered water through the head. Run the shower for a few minutes to rinse out excess chlorine before showering.

Tips & Warnings

  • Shower filters, like drinking water purifiers, must periodically have their filter carbon changed. Switch out the cartridge or filter bag of your filter every two to three months, as recommended by the manufacturer, for the best filtration of chlorine and other impurities.
