So simple, so easy! When you step out of the shower into a fog of steam, here's what to do.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Point a hair dryer at the mirror and turn it on at its hottest setting. Hold the hair dryer about 6 inches from the mirror.

  2. Step 2

Wave the hair dryer over the mirror until it is completely defogged.

  3. Step 3

If you do not have a hair dryer, open the bathroom door and wait a few seconds.

Tips & Warnings
  • Keeping a window open a crack and a fan running while you shower decreases the chances of the mirror fogging up.
  • Dry yourself off before using the hair dryer. Do not use electrical equipment in the tub.

on 7/28/2009 surprisingly, shaving cream works VERY well and works for about 1 week or 2. you have to rub very hard with a dry cloth, i used paper towel and have arthritis in my hand joints, but it is well worth it. also, don't use too much and i wouldn't recommend using shaving gel.

on 12/22/2008 Actually, fog happens when two temperatures collide. If your bathroom is cold or you open the window and let cold air in, you'll have a steamy, foggy bathroom. But if you warm the bathroom up, you may have humidity from the shower but it will dissipate much faster. Leave the window shut in the winter!
