Removing Odors From Garbage Disposals
Your garbage disposal is responsible for pulverizing all of the food scraps that are produced in your household. While this can be an extremely useful device to have, the odors produced from pulverizing these food scraps can get a little overwhelming and tough to handle. The odors can also get trapped within your garbage disposal. With proper cleaning and maintenance, you can remove these odors and have a fresh smelling kitchen once again. Does this Spark an idea?

Fill a bowl with crushed ice cubes, and dump them into the side of your sink that has the garbage disposal.

Turn on the garbage disposal and allow it to grind up all the ice cubes. This helps to dislodge any smelly food particles that are stuck inside the sink.

Slice a lemon into about six to eight pieces. Make sure you don't lose too much of the juice as you cut.

Turn on your garbage disposal and start running cold water from your faucet.

Drop the lemon slices down into the disposal one at a time, allowing it to grind them up completely. This will help to remove odors and freshen your garbage disposal.
