Clean concrete tile grout with a little help from cleaners.

Concrete grout is used between tiles to bond them together. If it isn't properly sealed when the tile is installed, the grout can absorb liquid easily and become stained because it is so porous. Ideally, clean the grout as soon as you can and seal it to prevent further issues. You can use a power scrubber machine to clean the tile. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    • 1

Mix oxygen bleach with water. Use several scoops for a gallon bucket of water. Stir it until the powder dissolves.

    • 2

Mop or sponge it onto the floor and let it sit for half an hour. If the grout absorbs the water, mop on more solution so that it's wet the entire time.

    • 3

Scrub the surface of the floor, concentrating on the tile, with a power scrubber with a stiff bristle attachment. Add more solution as you scrub.

    • 4

Rinse with clean water and towel dry to remove excess water.
