How to Replace a Window Pile Weatherstrip
Over time, the weatherstripping in your windows can break down and become useless. Replacing the weatherstripping helps save money on your utility bill and can keep your house at a consistent temperature. Pile weatherstripping is a common type of weatherstrip. It is made from small, hair-like fibers. These fibers are placed in the center of a plastic fin. This fin is then installed in the channel of your window. Pile fin seals are typically manufactured for aluminum windows and doors. Does this Spark an idea?
