Instructions

    • 1

Paint the object with a thin layer of black acrylic paint. Allow the paint to dry. Repeat this process until you have about three layers of black acrylic paint. This will act as the primer for the faux aged-bronze finish.

    • 2

Combine bronze metallic acrylic paint with water in a bowl in a proportion of two parts paint to one part water. Mix well.

    • 3

Paint the diluted paint over the black paint in a thin layer. Allow the paint to dry.

    • 4

Sponge on a second layer of the diluted bronze paint. This will make the bronze look aged and rubbed. Allow the paint to dry.
