How to Convert CM to Foot & Inches

Therefore, you would have to convert from centimeters to feet and inches to make sure you meet the height requirements for the ride.

1. Divide the number of centimeters by 2.54 to convert to inches. For example, if you have 127 cm, divide 127 by 2.54 to get 50 inches.

2. Divide the number of inches by 12 to find the number of feet. In this example, divide 50 by 12 to get 4.16667, which means you will have 4 feet.

3. Multiply the decimal from Step 2 by 12 to find the number of inches. In this example, multiply 0.16667 by 12 to get 2, meaning you have 2 inches.

4. Combine the feet from Step 2 and the inches from Step 3 to find the feet and inches. Completing the example, you would find that 50 cm equals 4 feet, 2 inches.
