How to Repair a 2006 Maytag Clothes Dryer With a Broken Belt

Maytag produced both electric and gas model clothes dryers in 2006. Each model used the same type of belt and pulley system to rotate the drum inside the dryer. If the belt breaks, the pulley system will no longer cause the drum to tumble. The clothes inside the dryer cannot become dry if the drum does not tumble. Replace the broken belt with a new one to repair the broken belt problem. Does this Spark an idea?
