Select enough soundproof foam panels to soundproof the room. Measure your walls ahead of time to know how many you need. Foam soundproof panels can be purchased in measurements of 4-by-4 feet and larger. The density is up to you. These panels can be purchased online or in home repair supply shops.

Hold one of the foam soundproofing panels against the wall, in a corner where the ceiling meets the wall. Use a hand drill and 2-inch screws to secure the corners of the soundproofing panel in place.

Place a second soundproofing panel next to the first and secure it. Repeat these steps until you have used all the panels needed. This will leave parts of your walls that are too small to fit panels. Areas like this included places near the door and furniture.
