  • Bucket
  • Laundry detergent
  • Scrubbing brush
  • Trisodium phosphate
  • Bleach
  • Hose

Instructions

  1. Manufactured Wood Decking

      Fill a bucket with warm water and add 2 tbsp. laundry detergent.

      Dip a scrubbing brush into the soapy solution and scrub the entire surface of the wood deck until you remove as much of the dirt as possible.

      Mix 1 cup trisodium phosphate with 1 cup bleach in 1 gallon water.

      Dip a scrubbing brush into the cleaning solution and spread it over the entire surface of the deck. Let it sit for 15 minutes.

      Scrub the deck with the brush until you remove the rest of the dirt, mildew or mold.

      Rinse the deck with clear water and let it air dry completely.

      Spray the deck with water from your hose.

      Fill a bucket with warm water. Add 2 tbsp. liquid dish soap.

      Dip a soft-bristled brush into the soapy water.

      Scrub the surface of the Trex decking with the soapy water until you remove all of the dirt.

      Rinse the deck with clear water from your hose and let it dry completely.
