How to Wear a White Collared Shirt
A white-collared shirt is a classy addition to a formal outfit, or a simple shirt for a more relaxed look. Collars and cuffs are usually white, but the actual shirts might have a variety of different colors and patterns. Wear the shirts properly, or they can make you look bloated. Don a white t-shirt. Some white-collared shirts are slightly transparent; the added layer of clothing will cover the transparency.

Pull on your white-collared shirt one sleeve at a time. Line up the ends of the shirt, and button it to the top button.

Flip down the collar of the shirt. Ask an assistant to check the back of the collar to ensure it is down fully.

Tuck the shirt into your pants waist. Straighten the shirt so the line of buttons lays in a straight line down your front.

Button the sleeves of the shirt so they fit snuggly around your wrists. Don your formal jacket. Let the collar of the jacket rest over the white collar of the shirt.
