How to Make a Watertight Hunting Blind
Hunting blinds provide a camouflaged shelter. These shelters are often made of water-resistant fabrics such as nylon and polyester. To give the hunting blind a more watertight seal, you can seam seal an existing blind. There is no need to make a project such as water proofing a blind more intricate than need be. By using an existing nylon blind and some seam sealer, you get a waterproof hunting blind for little money and time.

1
Assemble the hunting blind so it is tight and in a dry location. Use an outside location on a sunny and dry day for good results.
-
2
Apply tent seam sealer at every stitch and seam on the blind. Apply the sealer two inches along each seam for maximum waterproofing. Let the seam sealer dry.

3
Apply seam tape to every seam and stitch on the hunting blind as a redundancy. Use the knife to cut the tape to the required size to cover the seams.
