Instructions

    • 1

Soak up all of the dog urine you see on the glazed tile flooring with paper towels. Toss the paper towels out with the trash.

    • 2

Use a black light to illuminate any urine on your tile flooring if the urine dried and you aren't sure where the spot is located.

    • 3

Sprinkle baking soda over the dog urine spot. Let it sit for an hour, and then sweep it up. It will absorb any remaining dog urine that is laying on the tile floor. It also will begin the deodorizing process.

    • 4

Mix 1/4 cup of warm water with 1/4 cup of white distilled vinegar. Wash the spot where the dog urinated. Water and vinegar are safe to use on glazed tile. They will clean the area and remove the rest of the unwanted urine smell.

    • 5

Dry the tile floor with a dust-free towel.

Tips & Warnings

  • Rubbing alcohol also can be mixed with water and used to clean the urine off of the glazed tile floor.

  • Never use ammonia to clean dog urine. You will just add to the urine odor, not remove it.
