How to Make Your Own White Face Foundation
Making foundation at home allows you to control the quality of the products that you use on your skin. It also enables you to create the exact color that you desire, even very pale white. Whether your skin is naturally pale, and you cannot find a good foundation to match it -- or you wish to dress up as a vampire or geisha for an event -- making your own foundation puts you in control. Things You'll Need
- Stainless steel pot
- Wooden spoon
- Beaters or whisk
- 25 ml aloe vera gel (non-thickened)
- 50 ml jojoba oil
- 1/2 tsp. soy wax blend (jojoba, rice bran and soy wax)
- 1/2 tsp. beeswax
- 25 ml rosewater (or other floral water)
- 6 level tsp. concealer powder base
- 1/2 tsp. natural color base
- 10 drops essential oil
- Plastic or glass storage bottle with lid

Place 25 ml aloe vera gel, 50 ml jojoba oil, one-half tsp. soy wax blend and one-half tsp. beeswax in your stainless steel pot. Heat over low heat, until the wax melts, and the items can be mixed together with the wooden spoon.

Beat the mixture with beaters or a whisk, until they appear creamy. Add 25 ml of rosewater, 6 level tsp. white concealer powder base, and one-half tsp. natural color base in white. Beat until the mixture is similar in texture throughout. Concealer powder base and natural color base can be purchased at soap-making, natural goods and makeup stores. They may also be called mineral pigments.

Allow mixture to cool, before stirring in essential oils, if desired. Store in a plastic or glass cosmetics bottle for up to six months.
