How to Repair No Spin for a Maytag Neptune

Open your home's circuit breaker box and slide the switch to "Off," then back to "On" to reset it. If the circuit breaker already is set to "Off," simply flip it to the "On" position.

Pull the washer from the wall and straighten the drain hose if it is twisted or curled in a way that would impede the flow of water. Remove and replace kinked water hoses that can cause water to not flow properly from the washer to the drain pipe. If a Maytag Neptune cannot drain, it also will have difficulty spinning.

Push the washer door closed and press "Start/Stop." Maytag Neptune washers are programmed not to be able to spin if the door is not fully closed.

Wait a few moments after pressing the "Start/Stop" button. The washing machine must have time to lock the doors before the spinning commences.
