How to Create a Custom Yoga Mat

Images or words on your mat may inspire your yoga practice.

Creating a customized yoga mat can be a fun way to make yoga studio logo mats -- make a little extra money online -- or simply inspire yourself to do more yoga. You can add inspiring or humorous words, photos of your dog and kids or graphics, like your yoga studio logo. Since you can choose a custom color for the mat material, you can tie your custom yoga mat into any décor.

Instructions

1. Go to the Café Press website and click on the "Make Your Own" tab. Select "Customized Yoga Mats." This will launch a new page.

2. Click on a color for your custom mat from the five color options: green, tan, pink, blue or grey. A new page will open with a photo of a yoga mat in your color choice.

3. Choose an optional graphic, like a flower or yoga pose icon, by clicking on the "Add Graphics" box. Double click on the graphics that you want to add, and they will appear on your mat photo. You can alter the size, color and placement of the graphic using the pop up box that will appear.

4. Add text to your custom mat by clicking on the "Add Text" box. Use the pop up box to choose a font style, size and color. You can move the text anywhere on your mat by using the arrows. All of the adjustments that you make will appear on your mat photo.

5. Place a custom photo or image on your mat by clicking on the "Upload Images" box. Select a photo from your computer files and select "Upload." You can resize or move the photo on your mat using the arrows. Use the custom mat photo to decide when your mat looks perfect.

6. Click on the checkout button when you are ready to order your custom yoga mat.

Tips & Warnings

• It may take a few minutes to upload a photo to the Café Press site. You can save your work and try uploading the photo when the site is not as busy.
