How to Create Strat-o-Matic Baseball Cards

Strat-O-Matic Baseball is a sports simulation board game that uses cards and dice to replicate real baseball. The game is touted for its high statistical accuracy and is ideal for the baseball-statistics enthusiast. Cards for real teams and players throughout history can be ordered via the Strat-O-Matic website, but if you want to create fake player cards or cards for your local softball league, the site also offers a service allowing you to input data and get personalized cards sent to your home. The price for this service is $6 dollars per card (as of February 2011).

Instructions

    • 1

Go to the personalized baseball cards section of Stat-O-Matic's website (See Resources).

    • 2

Click either the "Personalized Pitcher Card" button or the "Personalized Batter Card" button, depending on what type of card you wish to make.

    • 3

Fill in all the forms on the page, including "Player's Name," "Team" and all the various statistical categories. If you do not have all the statistics for the player you are creating, you can leave some fields blank and Strat-O-Matic will use standard answers to finish your card.

    • 4

Click "Add to Cart" at the top of the page to order your card. Repeat Steps 1 through 3 if you wish to create multiple cards.
