Instructions

    • 1

Light a candle lantern by first accessing the candle. Hold the lantern by the U-shaped handle. Grasp the body of the lantern with the opposite hand and rotate the handle to the side.

    • 2

Pull the top of the candle lantern off the lower lantern body. Slide the glass globe down into the lower lantern body to expose the wick of the candle.

    • 3

Light the candle wick with a match or lighter and slide the glass globe back up to prevent wind from extinguishing the flame.

    • 4

Attach the top of the candle lantern to the lower lantern body. Turn the handle to lock the top and lower body together.

    • 5

Hang the candle lantern from a limb or suspended inside a tent. Consider placing the candle lantern on a picnic table or on the ground as desired for the best lighting.

    • 6

Use a candle lantern at home during power outages as a safe alternative to candles with exposed flames.
