How to Use Audio Transformers
An audio transformer isolates electronic systems audio signals from one stage of the system to another. Whether inside of a microphone or between audio circuit stages in an audio system, transformers indeed require complex engineering skills and ability. An audio transformer is not the same as an amplifier, which just amplifies sound to higher stages. Utilizing an audio transformer requires that you hook it up properly.

Graph out tour audio system initially on paper and then onto a breadboard.

Utilizing the breadboard mechanisms adapted and associated to your setup, first locate the appropriate connections and then hook up the primary windings of the transformers to these connections.

Connect the transformer's secondary windings to the appropriate circuits. If your audio transformer has only one winding, then connect this to the right circuit. If it has several windings, you must connect these windings to the correct circuits properly.
