How to Train at the American Petroleum Institute

The American Petroleum Institute, API, is a United States based trade association for the oil and natural gas industries. API represents more than 400 corporations and lobbies the U.S. Government on behalf of those corporations. In addition, API offers continuing education classes at locations across the U.S. through the API-U program. You can train at API by registering and attending any API-U training course.

      Check the API-U training calendar. The training calendar lists all API training classes currently scheduled, the dates of the course and the course location.

      Click on the course name for detailed information about that course.

      Click the "Registration Form" link to download and print the registration form for the selected course.

    • 4

      Complete the registration form including the "Payment by Credit Card" section. Email, fax or mail the form to the address listed on the from.

Tips & Warnings

  • There is a fee assessed for canceling your course registration. You can, however, make changes or class substitutions without a penalty.
