How to Assemble a Swimming Pool Vacuum Cleaner
Since pool vacuums are available in both automatic and manual models, the assembly instructions vary by not only the model but the type of vacuum as well. Automatic models have a series of hoses so the vacuum can extend over the entire length of your specific pool size. Since you control and physically move a manual model, it doesn't require as much slack, so it consists primarily of a telescopic shaft. But with either type, you need to connect the pieces together and connect it to the cleaning head as well as possibly install a dirt collection container before you start using the vacuum cleaner. Does this Spark an idea?
Instructions

1
Connect the shaft pieces together, especially if using a manual model, since most automatic models contain only hoses.
-
2
Measure from the farthest end of your pool back to the skimmer to calculate the hose length, if using an automatic model. Add three extra hose sections to account for slack.
-
-
3
Connect the hoses together. Some models have a female and male end; push the male end into the female end.
-
4
Attach the cleaning head to the shaft or hose. Secure it tightly so it snaps into place.
-
5
Attach or install the debris collection container, if it's not self-contained. Manual models will sometimes have a dirt collection bag that ties to the outside of the vacuum.
