      Clean the concrete brick wall with a tri-sodium phosphate, or TSP, solution. This removes dirt and any efflorescence deposits from the wall. Use rubber gloves and eye protection when working with this solution.

      Apply a latex primer made specifically for masonry walls to your concrete brick wall. Use a 1-inch nap roller to apply this primer.
