How to Recycle Shaw Carpet

Shaw Carpet is manufactured by Shaw Industries, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, headquartered in Dalton, Georgia. Shaw Carpet manufactures and markets a line of carpets made from Anso Nylon 6 that is recyclable. The company maintains a processing plant in Augusta, Georgia, that processes used Anso Nylon 6 carpets. It also offers national collection points where you can drop off your recyclable Shaw Carpets for distribution to the processing plant in Augusta.

      Check the label of your Shaw carpet to determine if your carpet is recyclable. If it is, you'll find the "N6 Evergreen Nylon Recyclable" logo.

      Call (800) 434-9887 for the location of the nearest Shaw Carpet Recycling Network collection facility. You can also check the map on the Shawfloors.com website to see national collection points for the Shaw Carpet Recycling Network.

      Bring the Shaw carpet that you want to recycle to your local Shaw Carpet Recycling Network collection facility. It will transport the carpet (at no charge to you) to the Shaw Evergreen Plant in Augusta, Georgia for processing.
