1
Launch the Video Edit Magic software.
-
2
Click on "File" and "Open" and use the window that appears to find the video files you wish to edit. When you find them, double click on them and Video Edit Magic will import those files for you to edit.

-
3
Drag your video files down to the timeline at the bottom of the program window and arrange them in the order you'd like them to be in the new video you're creating.
-
4
Add some special effects to one of your video clips. Click on the "+" sign next to either the "Video 1" or "Video 2" track (depending on which track the video clip you want to add the effect to is on). Click on the "Effects" tab to the right of the "Media Files" tab. Select an effect you want to apply to your video, and drag it down to the timeline. That effect will be applied to the video clip you place it on.
-
5
Crop one of your video clips if you don't want the entire clip. Place the mouse cursor over the right triangle on the right side of the video clip you want to crop. Hold down on the left mouse button to click on the small triangle. Then drag the mouse to the left and it will crop out all video right of the mouse cursor until you let go of the left mouse button.
-
6
Add a special transition between two of your video clips to help smooth out changes in between scenes of your video. Click on the "Transitions" tab to the right of the "Effects" tab. Select the transition that you want, and drag it down to the timeline. Place it between two of the clips to smooth the change from one to clip to the next.
-
7
Make any finishing edits to your movie project. When you are finished, click "File" and then "Make Movie."
-
8
Follow the on-screen instructions provided by the Make Movie Wizard until it successfully saves your finalized movie file. You've now edited with Video Edit Magic.
