1
Add a broach on the left side, over where your heart will be. Choose a broach that is gold or pale yellow. This will emphasize the burnt orange color of the dress without taking away from it.
-
2
Place a sash around the shoulders of the dress that is a little darker than the dress's color. You don't need to attach the sash to the dress as it will just sit on your shoulders. However, if you would like to, you can attach it with straight pins.

3
Tie a piece of burnt orange material around your waist. This will not only customize the dress, but make an attractive silhouette around your waistline. The material should be twice the length of your waist.
-
4
Glue burnt orange crystals around the sleeve holes of the dress using fabric glue. The crystals will bring sparkle to the bridesmaid dress without being over the top. Make sure you choose small, lightweight crystals so they are not too heavy and will not cause the sleeve to sag.
-
5
Sew cranberry colored lace around the hemline of the dress. This combination of colors will make a dramatic impact. Use a lace that is no more than 2 to 3 inches wide.
