How to Block Gotomypc
GoToMyPC is a Web-based software program that supports a remote connection for personnel who work away from the office. However, some employers might not want to allow their staff access to this service. Businesses might have concerns over how the program uses Internet bandwidth, because it could cause slow connectivity at other workstations. Though the developers of GoToMyPC have built in several layers of security, including passwords and encryption, some employers might not feel comfortable with staff transmitting data over the Internet in this manner. If you have these concerns or other misgivings about the program, you can block access to GoToMyPC's host.
