How to Import a Horse Trailer Into the USA
Horse trailers provide a safe way to move and transport horses from one location to another. To import a horse trailer into the United States, proper procedure must be followed. Unless the trailer is being imported by a registered importer (RI), or someone who has a contract with an RI, the importer must obtain a U.S. certification label that proves that the trailer meets U.S. vehicle safety standards.
