How to Learn With "Math Monsters"
"Math Monsters" is a Slim Goodbody production, created with the National Council of Teachers of Math (NCTM) and Virginia's Public Television stations. "Math Monsters" is a video and book series created to meet and support the NCTM's national standards for K-2 math instruction. The main goal of the program is to teach problem solving, mathematical connections, mathematical communication and reasoning to help children get a head start on essential mathematical concepts. The lessons are taught by 3D-animated "Math Monsters" and come with a Teacher's Guide that includes pre- and post-viewing activities.
