How to Get Government Assistance for Group Homes for Pregnant Teens
In March 2010, President Barack Obama signed into law the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act, which included the establishment of a pregnancy assistance fund. From 2010 to 2019, the fund will administer $110 million annually in $25 million increments to support programs assisting pregnant teens.
The government funding can be used for everything from teen pregnancy prevention and education services to services for pregnant women who are victims of domestic violence.
The grant is being administered by the Office of Adolescent Health, a division within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
