Instructions

  1. Stainless Steel

    • 1

Mix 1 gallon hot water with 1 tsp. ammonia.

    • 2

Put the soiled stainless steel flatware in the ammonia solution.

    • 3

Soak the flatware for 10 minutes. This will give the ammonia time to loosen the stains.

    • 4

Remove each piece of stainless steel flatware and rinse it under clear, hot water. Rub it with a terry cloth to gently remove stains and dirt.

    • 5

Dry the flatware with a soft cloth. Do not let it air dry as it will streak and develop water spots.

    Silver

    • 6

Apply a dime-sized amount of silver polish to a clean cloth.

    • 7

Rub the polish into the silver flatware. This will remove the tarnish and the dirt on the flatware. Rub horizontally or vertically, but do not rub in circular motions.

    • 8

Rinse the polish off with warm water.

    • 9

Dry the silver flatware with a clean cloth.
