How to Remove the Baffles From Rinehart Exhaust

Rinehart makes aftermarket exhaust systems for motorcycles and cars. Their line of motorcycle exhausts have an internal baffle that quiets down the exhaust system. Some people prefer the look of the Rinehart system, but want the exhaust to be louder. To do that, you can remove the internal baffles in the exhaust, thus making the motorcycle louder. This should take about 15 minutes to do, and doesn't require any special tools.

Things You'll Need

• Hex-head key set

Instructions

1. Position yourself next to the exhaust so that you're sitting down next to the tip. Take off the three hex-head bolts that surround the tip of the exhaust with a hex-head key.

2. Take off the tip of the Rinehart exhaust using your hands.

3. Pull the baffles out of the center of the exhaust using your hands. Reinstall the tip of the exhaust with the hex-head key.
