How to Enable a Car's Navigation System to Transmit
The navigation system comes factory installed in your vehicle. It provides you with points of interest, directions and maps. To transmit this type of data, you need a navigation DVD. Your dealership will provide you with a navigation DVD upon purchasing the car. If you do not have the DVD, you can contact them to mail you one. They may offer to install the DVD for you, but you will find that it is simple to do it yourself.
