Instructions

    • 1

Wet a soft bristle scrub brush under running water. Brush the nozzles on the showerhead to remove any accumulated deposits that could block the flow of water. Wipe the showerhead clean with a rag.

    • 2

Select a plastic bag that will fit around the showerhead with room to spare. Pour vinegar into the plastic bag.

    • 3

Place the bag with the vinegar over the showerhead so that the nozzles are contacting the vinegar. Secure the bag around the back of the showerhead or water pipe with a twist tie. Allow the nozzles to soak in the vinegar for two to three hours. Remove the bag and run water through the shower head to clear the nozzles.

    • 4

Remove the showerhead from the water pipe by loosening the fitting on the base of the head with an adjustable wrench. Pull the showerhead from the water pipe.

    • 5

Pull the screen filter from the fitting in the showerhead. Scrub the filter with a soft bristle brush and hold it under running water to clean it. Install the screen filter back into the fitting and attach the head back to the water pipe.
