How to Clean Air Handler Filters on Air Conditioning Units

An air conditioner's air handler is the fan that blows the air over the cooling coils inside the air conditioning unit and throughout the house. The air that the air handler blows also goes through the air conditioning unit's air filter, removing impurities from the air before it enters your home. However, if your filter is dirty, the air handler cannot work effectively. Cleaning the filter two to three times a season will keep it working well, according to Energy Savers. Usually, only room air conditioner units contain an air handler and filter. Does this Spark an idea?
