Apply pressure to the throttle and see if the engine responds. Check the rear wheel and see if it spins and increases in speed as you apply more pressure to the throttle. If the wheel does not move, inspect the drive belts to see that they are attached.

Turn the lights and turn signals on and observe that they are working. If not, remove the fuse box cover panel located under the seat and inspect all of the fuses. If the fuses are intact, use a small Philips screwdriver to remove the turn signal lenses and the front headlight to see if the bulbs are in working condition.

Turn the ignition. If the scooter fails to start, inspect the battery and confirm the battery cables are properly connected. Plug the charger cable for the Qianjiang scooter into a power outlet, view the battery level and gauge, and confirm that the battery is receiving a charge. Leave the scooter plugged in until the battery is fully charged. If, after several hours of charging, you notice the battery is not fully charged, you should have it inspected by a service technician. The battery or charging system may need to be replaced or repaired.
