  • Formulate a succinct thesis to base your essay on. The thesis is the core ideas which you will discuss throughout your essay and use to form a rational conclusion.

  • Create a basic outline dividing the essay into five paragraphs, each paragraph marked by a roman numeral. Title the paragraph according to the broad subject matter discussed, and mark individual points to discuss within the paragraph by letters in alphabetical order.

  • Write the introductory paragraph and incorporate your essay's thesis. Ensure that this paragraph is around 125 words.

  • Write the body paragraphs according to your outline. Make sure to discuss each point as necessary to your thesis. Each paragraph should be about 150 words.

  • Finish your essay with a conclusion paragraph that restates the thesis. The conclusion should be around 125 words.
